A few notes.

Being in charge of a few baking operations, again. This time I have experimented baking with kamut, an ancient grain that they say was found in one of the tombs in Egypt.
We let the grain ferment overnight in goat milk whey. In addition we used elderberry flowers to make a fantastic drink. In a few days our elderberry spritz was ready. Oh, boy! A great refreshing drink on a hot day!

Black raspberry pie with a goat milk black raspberry shake for our afternoon dessert time.

Can't get any better than that!

I'm enjoying your blog! So much great information that you can experience first-hand -- and the photos of the children are priceless!
