Wading in Missouri River.

When driving for a long time in one day it is important to have a nice, long, fun stop! We left North Dakota having 3,981 mils into our trip and that evening we decided to have a break with 4,285 miles on the meter. Pretty good distance for one day, we thought, and everybody was happy to have a nice dinner and a dip in the Missouri River.

We found a nice spot by the Lewis and Clark Memorial Bridge right on the border of Fort Peck, already being in Montana.
For dinner we had potato parley soup with a cantaloupe for dessert.
Of course Mirek had to try fishing in the river and had a few bites.
Feeling hot and mushy had to be fixed to boost the morale of the traveling crew. It didn't take long for all of us to dip into the water ignoring the fact we were all dressed.
We came up to the Airstream refreshed and feeling happy, with all the crankiness being washed off into the river, ready to continue and explore Montana. We still didn't know where we were going to spend the night, but decided to push forward as much as we could and then pull into a field and crash for the night.
